Summary: Advanced Land Development Tools does not collect,
transmit, or store any personal data on remote servers. All user data stays
on your local machine.
1. Overview
Advanced Land Development Tools ("the App") is a productivity plugin for
Autodesk Civil 3D, published by Juan Felipe Cadavid. This privacy policy
explains what data the App accesses, how it is used, and your rights
regarding that data.
2. Data We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect personal information (name, email, address, etc.).
- We do not use analytics, telemetry, or tracking services.
- We do not transmit your drawing files, project data, or design
information to any external server.
- We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies.
3. Data Accessed Locally
The App stores a small license/trial file on your local computer to manage the
free trial period:

- Contents: First-use date and product version (no personal data).
- Purpose: To track the 30-day free trial period.
This file is stored only on your machine and is never transmitted externally.
You may delete it at any time.
4. Third-Party Services
Certain commands in the App query publicly available government and Autodesk
web services. When you use these commands, the following data is sent:
4.1 Autodesk Entitlement API
- What is sent: Your Autodesk User ID (already known to Autodesk) and the App ID.
- Purpose: To verify your App Store purchase/license status.
- Endpoint:
apps.autodesk.com/webservices/checkentitlement
4.2 FEMA National Flood Hazard Layer (NFHL)
- What is sent: Geographic coordinates (X, Y) from your drawing.
- Purpose: To query flood zone designations for the FLOODZONE command.
- Service: FEMA Map Service (public, no authentication required).
4.3 Miami-Dade County GIS Services
- What is sent: Geographic coordinates from your drawing.
- Purpose: To query flood criteria elevations, groundwater levels, and
other county-specific data (FLOODCRITERIA, GWMAY, GWOCT commands).
- Service: Miami-Dade County Open Data (public, no authentication required).
4.4 SFWMD PLSS Service
- What is sent: Geographic coordinates from your drawing.
- Purpose: To look up PLSS Section/Township/Range (SECTIONLOOKUP command).
- Service: South Florida Water Management District (public).
Note: The geographic coordinates sent to these services are derived
from your Civil 3D drawing coordinate system. No file names, user names, project names,
or other identifying information is included in these requests.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share any data with third parties. The only external
communications are the public API queries described in Section 4, which are initiated
solely by user action (running a specific command).
6. Data Security
The local trial/license file uses basic obfuscation to prevent casual tampering.
No sensitive personal data is stored by the App.
7. Children's Privacy
The App is a professional engineering tool and is not directed at children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by
updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes
constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
